What's your major/area? Why'd you choose it?
I'm in secondary English Education. Educating young minds in grammar and literature - What's not to love? _________________

| My major is filmmaking. It was the only thing I could actually see myself enjoying, and I do! I'm interested in Producing and Screenwriting.

Hmm, an English teacher and a filmmaker! Very interesting choices and rewarding ones, too.
I'm a graphic design major (graduating in May, thankfully).
When do y'all graduate? _________________ TEAM EDWARD: because I'd rather freeze than have a personal space heater.

Entrepreneurial Management.
I chose it because I had no other options. My twin brother and I have the same course... in the same school! Isn't that terrible?! LOL. But we had to. My dad wouldn't allow anything else. *sigh* _________________

I am a freshman theater major. I chose it because acting is my passion and I really do want to become a film/theater actress.

So many options out there... I think these are great majors. With the times we live in, I think it's great that we can pick a major we enjoy and then are actually able to make a living with that career. The future has never been brighter in that respect. _________________ TEAM EDWARD: because I'd rather freeze than have a personal space heater.

Well in that case. You produce the films and make sure that I'm cast in them!
Actually, I'm a Creative Writing/Fashion Merch. Major. I'm doing post grad acting workshops. _________________ ~Molly~

My major is Anthropology, I love it, it's very interesting to me.
It might change, since I''m still not sure where it will take me.

Mathmatics?! Oh my god. I'm awful at math. You are very brave. For your program do you have to take praxis I or II?

In Texas, we have to take something similar to it. Since I am a math minor I take a generalist test (which covers all the basics math, science, ss and english) then we have the PPR (which is the Pedagogy and Professional responsibilities) and lastly you have the TExAs Exam which is a certification test.
there are way too many test!!! i have not taken a single one because they are each $86.00!!

Wow. That's intense! I'm not sure if I even have to take the Praxis tests, because I got over an 1150 on my SATs, which exempts me from the first one. The Praxis II is the test where they test you on the material you will be teaching...but since I'm focusing on early childhood I have no idea what they will test me on. Colors? Shapes? I still have to figure it out.
86$ !?!? I think ours are built in as a lab fee at some point, but if we have to re-take we are on our own to pay.
I'm such a dork, but I'm always interested in certifications in other states, because I don't think I will end up teaching in VT.

I'm a science major and I will have my A.S. in Science this May. After that, I plan on going to a 4 year school and getting my B.S. in Biology (where that will be I wish I knew!). From there, I will either work on being a Physical Therapist or I will go to Upstate Med in NY for a B.S. in Respiratory Therapy....but my mind keeps changing constantly on what I want to do! I'm really into the therapy-type occupations because my father has Multiple Sclerosis and I want to help other people in their time of need like my dad.
I have to say though...I have loathed school since 2nd grade when I started getting homework so...thinking about all the schooling ahead of me makes my head hurt.
Only 3 more weeks then some vacation with Twilight by my side...and soon to be Breaking Dawn! So pumped!!!

I'm at 'college' which is different from American college. We have university, and then TAFE (or college). TAFE is for the people that either didn't sit their Tertiary exams or bombed out in school etc.
Anyhoo, I'm doing the Diploma of Tourism, in operations management. Hopefully I'll go to university studying Journalism, combine the two and be a travele editor! _________________
