I'm getting my BA in Psychology at CSUDH... but then I want to get like three different Master's degrees, so I'm going to be in school forever... I want one in Behaviour Analysis, one in Abnormal Psych, and one in Developmental.
I really want to be a profiler for the FBI
which basically is what the show Criminal Minds is about... just in case you were wondering, which i think is amazing...

Well I'm not doing anything to special. I'm going to community college right now for a two year program (graphic Design technology). I would love to get my A.A and then go to a university but I need to get out of school asap so I can get a decent job and take care of my boys, I can always go back to school later. I'm the first person in my family to go to go to college, so I'm trying not to dissapoint :D I would love to go back to school and learn about film making or something like that. But my real dream is to open up my own youth center for under privilaged kids, that would be awesome.

Oh cool! It took me forever to decide what I wanted to do, but I went to an orientation for the program and knew thats what I wanted to do. I have to wait unitl November to apply for the program because I have a couple more gen. ed classes to take, but I am so looking forward to it :D

my HS made us attend career/college seminars, but that didn't help me much. all i knew was that i was inclined in the arts, but i ended up taking architecture, the technical one. in the middle of my first year, i finally realized that i was bound to be in the advertising field as most of my skills are useful there instead in architecture. so i decided to shift to advertising...

... to make the long story short, i wasn't able to shift. so now, i have to finish my course for three more years (as it is a five-year one). college can be so frustrating when you don't get your way.

aw, i would think so, but architecture is pretty amazing too, i didn't appreciate it until i did go to art school. Too bad my mind doesn't think that way, and i know what u mean about inclined to the arts, i couldn't' imagine what else i would do, if it didn't involve some kind of creativity.

waiting_2be_dazzled - yeah, graphic design is pretty great, stressful at times but it provides a good challenge. I had to do an portfolio to get into my program, is that the same for you?

My major

Postby Cullen_Complex on Sat Jun 28, 2008 3:51 pm

When I start college in the fall as a freshman, I'll be entering my college's nursing program. I'm really freaked out though because the first 3 semesters supposedly will be the hardest thing I go through, and if I don't make the grade (pardon the pun) I'll get held back.

Oh, and why I want to be a nurse? I've volunteered in a hospital, and in general, I just like helping people. Plus, I feel I'm really no good or passionate enough about anything else to want to do it for the rest of my life.
