I'm a freshman majoring in Political Science. I go to ASU. I didn't really have a choice my mom has pushed the (Lawyer) dream on me since I was little. I'm her youngest and also the first generation college student. So, I'm pretty much the last hope for my family. As far as any college education.
Its cool. No pressure. =] _________________ I <3 Rosamett!

So I took the cheaper way to a higher education by going to a community college first. I will graduate in August of this year and then moving over to Seattle University to pursue my major, psychology. I absolutely love psych. and think it's very interesting. I might go into clinical psychology or counseling. I may even do some research. I'm still kind of unsure what area to go into because there are so many areas. However, I do want to open up my own practice. So, yes, that means I'm definitely going to grad. school. Clinical psych. seems to be what I'm going towards so I probably will go into that. However, I want to approach my clinic in a different way from the generic clinics that are out there.
Haha. Okay. That's me. _________________

| I'm a Secondary English major, with a Spanish minor (which is my passion, but it would take FAR to long to graduate with a Spanish major).

Music. No idea how that's gonna help me with medicine -- I'm also premed -- but I've always loved playing piano.
It just kinda fit. _________________

| I know what I want to do, but I'm not quite sure what category it's under. I want to be a lab technician in a crime lab, and I know its around forensic science and criminal justice. I am obssessed with the show CSI and have been in love with forensic science it seems like forever so I think this will be a good job, at least I'm hoping, lol.

| My major is Political Science on a Pre-Law track. I am a total dork, and I love all things history. I also love to debate, which means I might make a pretty decent lawyer. haha I really want to help people out, and, by being a lawyer, I can do just that. I would love to become a constitutional lawyer someday. Question: Does anyone have any reccomendations for law school? I am currently a sophomore, and I need to start thinking about where I want to go to law school. I also live in Florida, and UCF does not, as of yet, have a school of law. Suggestions welcome!

You will want to talk to the Department of Criminal Justice about that. If you do Criminal Justice you can do an emphasis in Forensic Studies. Ot that is the way that it is a SHSU. _________________ "In this world love has no color, yet how deeply my body is stained by yours." J. Craqqette

The only law schools I know of are in Canada... :S
Anyways, I'm majoring in Geography, with a Geographic Information System and Enviromental Analysis minor. I was told by some upper years, that it only would take three or so extra credits to get that minor, so I may as well go and get it I was also thinking of minoring in Spanish, but after that final today, I'm not sure if I should! I want to do another minor though because I'm not sure if I can handle another major!

I'm thinking about minoring in Spanish too (I have to have at least four semesters of it, anyway), but with Eng. Ed, I don't need a minor. _________________

Hey guys.
I'm currently (and only for another 15 days) a student at the crazy hard Georgia Institute of Technology...aka Georgia Tech. My major here is Science, Technology, and Culture. BUT this school has totally burned me out in only two years and just about destroyed my confidence in myself academically, I'm transferring to another school in Atlanta starting in May. At Georgia State University I will be a nursing major. Always had an interest in medicine, dunno why I didn't just go this route to begin with :-/
As far as good law schools go in the south...my hometown of Macon has a pretty good law school at Mercer University. Only downside is Macon is boring unless you are 21. I think Emory in Atlanta also has a law school too so....if you dont mind out of state tuition, those are two good options that are known for their good schools. [/code]

im an incoming freshman who'll be majoring in Nursing at Cal State Bakersfield and then after the 4 yrs there, ill be transferring to Cal Poly SLO to major in Biomedical Engineering (woohoo!!)
i choose nursing because...well...my mom wouldnt let me go out of town until i had a steady job in something (and shes a nurse) but i guess it all works out because ill still be able to take biomedical engineering later. and i must be crazy because after all that working on schooling, i still plan to be a doctor _________________ "You are in trouble. Currently attending my 2nd semester of college [soon to come to a close for the summer] as a Psychology major. I took some time off after I graduated high school to just relax before I went to college. Now I'm in it full force. _________________ ~<3~I'm a Edward Cullen is Totally Hot...Fanpire~<3~

Wow you guys have all very interesting majors...and some i didn't know exist.
I'm a Biomedical Science major, and Pre-Dental. I'm going to grad school for a masters in Biomedical Science next year. Which basically means I'm a total geek. I spend way more time than necessary thinking about the anatomy and physiology and sociobiology of vampires and werewolves.
Anyone else graduating this year? I'm graduating in four weeks and I'm freaking out!
