I'm reading a lot of different stuff..It takes me two or three days to read one book, and then I start with the next =) So right now I'm reading Mansfield Park.. It takes me forever to read Jane Austen books, so I usually read them between other books or at the same time... I have this huge book 'complete novels' but I haven't read every story in it yet..I can't even remember the content of every story...it's a bit emberassing^^

So I'm still going through S&S atm, but I've just picked up the Special Edition of Twilight (YES!) and I'm reading a collection of Oscar Wilde plays. I've just finished Lady Windermere's Fan on the train coming home, and am onto Salome.

I love Wilde. Wilde rules.

Laughing Probably; I caught the last five minutes of the movie a couple weeks ago and was in happy tears from just that. (At least I'm pretty certain that what I saw was Persuasion...? The heroine received a note and was running trying to find her hero, and did so.)

I've just finished reading a book called Do Not Disturb by Tilly Bagshawe. Or Bragshawe, I can't think off the top of my head. Despite being a chick lit, a genre I tend to stay far away from, it was actually pretty decent. Well, decent is the wrong word to use. Good? maybe.
I actually spent all night reading it, and didn't go to bed until three.

The only problem I had with it was that most of the characters seemed too interested in having sex than actual conversation.

Mind you the book was good. There was the Darcy/Lizzie-esque relationship between the two main characters, Honor Palmer and Lucas Ruiz (HOT SPANIARD ALERT!), who are competing against each other in the hotel industry in the Hamptons.

But what got me hooked was another relationship of the relationship-filled book. Now, I'm a hopeless romantic. And I fell for this storyline hook, line and sinker.

Basically poor girl goes off to work in the Hampton for the summer, meets handsome British bloke who 'owns a business - something to do about hedges and funds'. What she doesn't realise is that he is a freaking multi-millionaire, and an incident occurs (I'm not telling you - read the book!) on the day that is their final one together, and the separate angry angry people. Skip a couple of years and said poor girl moves to London where she is arrested by the police whilst on a stakeout (she's an aspiring journo), she calls handsome Brit who comes to her rescue, and things just spiral from there.

I had to resist the urge to yell at the book at one stage. I mean, these two people are CLEARLY ment to be with each other, and there are factors separating them.
Luckily for my household it was around one - three in the morning at the time, and they didn't hear my inward screams of "JUST BLOODY KISS HER YOU KNOW YOU WANT TO!" or "YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE WITH HER - YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE WITH SIAN YOU TWIT!"

So if you're ever in the mood for chick lit, or hot, rampant Spanish sex, then pick up Do Not Disturb.

The only problem - the disturbing relationship between Anton and Petra. Just...ergh...
