I'm seriously obsessed with Broadway.

First starting with Wicked, which I've seen 9 times. I saw it 5 times on Broadway, once in Chicago, and twice on tour. I saw Kristen Chenoweth once, and Idina Menzel twice (although I sadly never got to see the two of them perform together.)

Some of my other Broadway favorites that I've seen in alphabetical order are:
Camelot, Chicago, Gypsy, Hairspray, Legally Blonde (this was amazing, I saw it with Laura Bell Bundy!), Les Miserables, The Little Mermaid, Mamma Mia, Phantom, Rent, and Spring Awakening.

I've also seen a ton more, like:
Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Aida, Avenue Q, Spamalot, Mary Poppins, The Producers, the Full Monty, Cabaret, Young Frankenstein, Xanadu, Jersey Boys, Ragtime, Miss Saigon, Cats, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Annie Get Your Gun, and I'm sure I'm forgetting some.

I actually listen to Broadway soundtracks all the time. Love them!!

I love the theater! I used to do the shows in high school and had a blast! Fortunately, I am lucky enough to live not too far from NY so I've been to a few Broadway shows, but more off-broadway! I've seen Phantom, Throughly Modern Millie, 42nd Street, Movin' Out, and Rent. Rent was by far my favorite, not only because the music is just so beautiful, but because I got to see both Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp last year when they reprised their roles. It was amazing! I think the next show I am going to see is Eqqus, because I love Daniel Radcliffe, and was pissed at myself for not seeing it while I was in London during it's original run this time last year! And Wicked this summer with the fam. Not too familar with the story but everyone says it's amazing!

For as much as I love broadway and the shows that it has, I've actually only been able to see two shows live, and neither was in NY.
I saw Wicked at the Pantages for my theatre class (oh damn what a drag {=)
and when my best friend and i went to london a few years back, we went to see Phantom at the Queen's theatre...
My mom was going to take me to NY for my birthday last summer, but the shows we wanted to go see we couldn't get tickets to.
But I have like a buttload of the soundtracks, but people aren't being so rebellious and taking little cameras in theatre with them, so its alot harder to download them and watch them...
