This may have been discussed somewhere else (or maybe it doesnt even need to be discussed) but why would Edward be attracted to Bella because she smelled like flowers? I believe it said she smelled like freesia. I understand the pull of the blood, that she is his "singer", but why would flowers make someone hungry? I mean wouldnt they seem a bit more edible if they smelled like cupcakes or something. It might sound retarded but I did kind of wonder.

I think he said she smelled like flowers because it was the closest description to how she actually smells to him. It's hard to describe a scent to someone who can't smell it and probably doesn't know anything like it.

And that's not a retarded question at all. You make a good point. I think I'd want my human to smell like fresh strawberries...yummy. Sorry, that was random....it's been a long day.

Maybe vampires kinda get off on floral scents, who knows? lol.. I know the vampires smell "sickeningly sweet" to the werewolves, so it makes sense that he would be attracted to the kind of sweet, floral scent of Bella.

Well that is not a bad thing to ask its a really good one to ask & you are so right about the sweet scent that could be ture. i know this is random but if i could pick my scent it would be the scent of Roses or melons lol[/i]

Your probably right about him just using it as a desciption, I didnt think about that.
