I watched the first season. I "borrowed" the box set from one of my sisters. My sisters kept telling me that I had to watch it.

It was kind of embarassing, expessially when the explicit scenes came on, and my controller wouldn't let me fast forward. I wonder what my roomates thought I was watching.... Embarassed

I watched it with my mum, and that was (somewhat) okay, cos my mum and I are best friends, but an old 'flame' came over to get gossip girl from me, and I just happened to be watching one of the dirtiest scenes...hmmm...awkward...

The nude scenes are a little shocking. Like, I probably wouldn't watch it at home if my family was home. But it's just so amazing.

That was strange....

Those sisters were very naughty girls. I mean, first trying to hook in with whathisname, Henry's friend that caught the sweating sickness, then with the musician dude who turned out to be batting for the other side, so the twins wents for George Boleyn, the the musician dude had one of them...and there was the GHOST!

I was SO CREEPED OUT about when the musician boy is having sex with other sister, and they zoom out and in the corner is the body of the dead sister..HOW CAN THEY HAVE SEX AND BOTH SEE THAT!?! Honestly, that's a mood killer right there.

I must have missed the holding onto each others nipples? Or was that when they were both in bed...Hmm...2 more episodes to go with my boyfriend, so I will keep an eye out for it. (We watch one together every once in a while.)

i really would love to see "the tudors", but we can't see them in germany! Sad

i heard rumours that the series will start this summer here, but i don't know, if it's true!
is it a good one?
i mean, okay, henry plays in it, and that the best reason to watch it, but is it interesting?

it's very good. Explicit, but you get past that. It's quite good if you enjoy your Tudor history like me, although there are a few things they change to make it flow a little better.

Plus Henry Cavill in period costume? I think I've died and go to heaven!

The historical facts aren't spot on, but they usually did happen (just perhaps not in the order or the time frame that the show gives.)
It's great, because it has something for everyone...naked Henry and Jonathan for the ladies, intense political scandal for the men, a love story for the romantics...it's quite diverse and is really interesting to watch. It would still be a great show without the nudity. The writing of the is really excellent.

I am SO EXCITED I got the intense special movie channel cabel package in my new apartment so I got Showtime, and essentially SEASON 2 TUDORS. I know I'm late for the season, but that is okay at least I get to see it now!
