I love soccer. It's seriously my favorite sport. Anybody play? I was a little busy with school to be on the team this year, but a bunch of my friends and I usually get together on Wednesday nights for some coed games. It's pretty fun.

I love soccer too! I'm trying to train myself to call it football for next year, so the Brits don't get cross at me..
But no matter what name it's called, it's still the 'World Game!'
Can't play - I'm so unco when it comes to any sport aparts from dancing, but I love to watch!
I support Chelsea FC in the EPL, Hibernian Edinburgh FC in the Scottish PL (I think they'd kill me if I told them I supported an English team!) and Perth Glory here in WA! _________________

Awesome! More crazy football fans like me!
I am a total soccer hooligan. Seriously, I've gotten into fights with my friends about my favorite team and whatnot. Not physical things but everyone knows me as someone who doesn't get mad easily but there are certain topics that you just DO NOT mess with me about. Haha.
I started playing in middle school. Played through all of it but in high school, I was only able to play through about 60% of it since my mom wanted me to focus on my education apparently. I miss it like crazy but I play whenever I can and watch as many games as I can on TV.

I love soccer too! I used to play, but I twisted my knee playing and had to quit. I'd love to take it up again, but I just don't have the time. Ah well, I still love the sport. My friends and I had a world cup party back...wow two years ago...three? Now I can't even remember. Haha. _________________ ~Molly~

Man Utd drew on the weekend! Do you know what theat means? Chelsea has a chance still to win the EPL! And on Saturday Man U & Chelsea are playing!!!!
And Chelsea haven't lost a game at Stamford Bridge since, like, 4 years ago! ARGH!!
AND THERE'S NOWHERE IN BUNBURY SHOWING THE MATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, so I'm a little obsessed. But I thought I would share! _________________

i'm kind of used to calling it football, even though i'm in CA. people always assume that i'm talking about american football, and it drives me crazy, since they don't really use their feet... it would make more sense to me if they called it handball..
anyways... i played for a year in college, but now I play coed on wed and pickup with the older women on sundays...
its kind of nice knowing that the boys hate playing against me because i hold no mercy for them... they affectionately (i think) call me a wall... _________________

I understand what you mean. I call it football too, cos that's what my Mum taught me to say. Plus I'm moving to Edinburgh next year, so it'll be a little confusing if I refer to football as soccer and AFL (Australian Rules) as football.
But anyway. Go Chelsea in the Champion's League!!!! _________________

Hahah. Great thread.
I'm also a Chelsea FC fan. And I support Germany for the European & World Cup games.
I used to play when I was little, you know, getting together with friends and having a game, but now I don't even to that anymore. _________________

Wooo! for the Chelsea FC fan!!! Haha how awesome is it that we are on top now?
I'm an Australia supporter in the World Cup, of course. In Euro this year I was going for Romania! _________________
