I was just dusting (which could be a rant within itself) and my rag caught a candle on the fire place which led to it falling. The glass candle stick broke and I went to pick it up and sliced my finger. Blood, blood, blood. I kept the cut under water for about two or three minutes while I tried to one-handedly find a bandaid. It was still bleeding like mad. I had to actually tie a hair band around my finger to stop it long enough to get a bandaid on. Not that it mattered, when the hair band was off, the bandaid was soaked through within a minute. Thankfully, it stopped bleeding after that and that was it for my non-female-problems blood loss for today. (Yep, Aunt Rose popped in for a visit this morning Mad

ARGH!!

I am sooooooooo annoyed!

You see, my idiotic older brother decided to let the cat in this morning. Now, we aren't to let our cat in the house, for this exact reason! He decided to leave a little present on my younger brother's jumper. And guess who had to clean it up because she's the only one home?

AND IT STINKS! ARGH! Now I have to go to work, feeling crook as anything AND its cold AND I really don't want to do this. I'm over work. I'm over everything. I just want to be able to curl up in a ball and sleep like Sleeping Beauty until my Prince comes along.

Job hunting. I worked once before, when I was in middle school, and when minimum wage was $5 and change an hour. Unfortunately, that doesn't really count as "sufficient work experience." I was picky in the beginning, only applying to places where I thought I might enjoy what I do. But now it's gotten to the point where I'll put in an application just about anywhere, and they still won't take me. I've been courteous and thourough, following up with each application and trying to wear "something nice" when I submit the application. But nope. Nothing. No calls back, no interviews, nada. The only interview I had went extremely well, but I would've had to miss an entire week of school for training to get the job, and it was the week of finals. What with the price of gas, I'm hoping money is going to start growing on trees. Crying or Very sad

Oh, and my on-the-side-rant: someone stole my bike! Honestly, I live in the middle of the friggin' woods and someone wandered all the way out here to steal my bike?! I'm more freaked out that a stranger was on my patio than the fact that I don't have a bike anymore. Evil or Very Mad

To the cat stinks thing: That sucks...hate it when it stinks like cat.
To the job hunting: That is one of the worst things in the world....hope you get a good job!

And now for my little rant.

It's been two days of work...and I understand what everyone says about not wanting to go. *sigh* Wow..tha twas a really short rant, longer in my head.

As some of you might know, I'm reading The Gemma Doyle Trilogy at the moment. Well, I decided that I'd check out Libba Bray's websites, which was entirely stupid. I go to her LJ, and I was looking through the comments because some girl said that it's ironic that Kartik and Amar are brother because of their names and that she'd give the reason why if anyone is interested. As I was scrolling down, looking to see if she ever told the reason, THE BIGGEST SPOILER IN THE WORLD caught my eye. I could beat myself up right now. In fact, I might. Please excuse me.

Kasey: Work. It sucks, doesn't it? I hate work. Well, no that's not true. I'm a non hate person, but geez, work gets up my goat some times. Luckily I have such nice people to work with. Haha, rants are always longer in our heads, aren't they?

Sigh. I really don't want to go to work this afternoon. I had the flu last week, and this week I caught the stomach bug my Mum had on the weekend. Not the best time in the world, let me tell you. I got it on Tuesday night, along with my brother and yeah we were pretty sick.

K, so that's not a rant, really I know. But sickness makes me sick. Blurgh
