How do you guys feel about Midnight Sun being leaked? Wow, so early too.

I personally feel terrible for Stephenie. It's got to suck to have had someone she obviously trusted and respected just throw all of that away and ruin the whole experience of it. Man..

I wonder if she'll ever finish/publish it?

AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

I'm so mad. I originally didn't know what to do with it. I mean, it happens - movies, music, other books... BUT - she just updated her website acknowledging the leak and she says she doesn't even want to work on it anymore. It's so disappointing. I understand how she could feel that way - since someone screwed her over and I really hope she can do something about them. I'm glad she released it herself, but I'm just so aggravated that because of one person, who she should've been able to count on - now millions of fans, and Stephenie herself of course, have to deal with the repercussions. If it were me, I think I'd want to finish it anyway. Though, since she knows the story, maybe she doesn't need to write it. I would think she might finish it, but publishing... who knows.

Man. Sucks.

Thats terrible, I feel so sorry for her, all that hard work she put into it. I can't believe someone would screw her over like that, and I agree, I really hope there is something she can do about it. But I guess that still won't change how she's feeling, I wonder if she WILL end up finishing it or not, I don't think I'd blame her if she didn't.

I am surprised at how quickly it was leaked. And I too feel sorry for her. All this on top of the backlash from BD (I didn't like it, but some of the fans went too far in letting her know they hated it). Poor Stephanie is only human, how much can she handle?

I hate that she doesn't want to write it anymore, hell I wouldn't want to either after something like that. Hopefully things will ease up on her after awhile and she gets in the mood to finish it.

it's all really disappointing. it must be really hard for her as an author, they have to deal with a lot of backlash and i'm sure it's really stressful on top of everything.

i really hope that after a break she'll calm down and continue with the novel, because no matter how many people hated BD or whoever that person was that leaked, she's got many more loyal fans just anticipating her next move.

i just really hope Midnight Sun gets published. My book set feels incomplete without it now that i know it exists, somewhat.

i havent read the leak because SHE WILL publish it lol i feel it...
and i dont want it to spoil anything for me

i read an interview she gave entertainment weekly the other day and in it she said that she might start writing it again in a couple of years... this makes me sad but i completely understand the way she feels... i would probably feel the same way... i only hope that she can emotionally get to a point where she could start writing it again... if stephenie reads any of these forums i just want her to know that all her fans are out here pulling for her and that we will respect any decision she makes!!!

I don't really know what to think about it.. of course she's disappointed and such... but gosh this is so immature...like someone has stolen her favorite toy. She should be a lot more professional making so much money with the writing..
