I was just thinking... Edward has heightened senses..
Think about how sex would feel to him. Insane. Like you/re on XTC or something maybe.
In the meadow seen when Bella is stroking his arm he mentioned how Bela would never know how good that felt.
Either way, I don't think that first time (if, as a human) it would be very pleasurable to her.

I absolutely HATE how SM has to keep it somewhat PG for this book...grrr I would so kill for an in depth sex scene between Bella and Edward! actually just any sex scene with Edward would be great!

She should just do a full-out sex scene anyway. The little kids (at least around here-- must be something in the water) are all doing each other anyway. And when I say little, I mean middle school aged. Lol, so it's not like they'd never have heard of anything like that before.

| Of course everyone would love to get such a scene, but I think I have read an interview where SM says that she's never going to write about sex... Her family is going to read it,so..it's embarrassing or something? Maybe also for religious reasons? I don't know...it sucks anyway

NO KIDDING!!!! I swear I was babysitty a 6 year old one time and he started freaking quizzing me about sex! I kept telling him he was too young!! That and I still remember watching my first sex scene on television when I was like 5 so I guess I don't have too much room to talk....I think that SM should just kinda jump the whole morman image for a book so that we can at least enjoy ourselves...plus she did write that one that she gave to her sister that kinda sounds like it was definately an ADULT novel

yeah but she did give her sister the original New Moon and from the sounds of it there was some sex in that one....and she gave it to her sister so it's us she's holding out on her family is getting all the good stuff

sigh, of course would love to see it happen, i'm sure it will.
I doubt it will be graphic tho, seeing how her fan base is mostly young teenage girls (i know they prolly already know all about it) but, also taking account she is a mormon and there maybe an outcry if mothers if knew about it.
So it will prolly happen after they are married and I bet we will get all of the flowers, romance stuff, maybe two sentences and her waking up in the morning with more romancy fluff.
oh well, hopefully i'm wrong!
