So what upcoming films are you looking forward to seeing? whether a big blockbuster, or an indie film? who's in it and why? (excluding our twilight movie of course )

This summer seems to be filled with big blockbusters, so just a few i want to catch is Get Smart (loved anne hatheway in devil wears prada), oh and Wall-E, looks just way too cute not to see. I'm sure it'll be like the next Nemo. They have alot of these cute mini clips of Wall-E playin with toys, they are doin some good promotion for this film for sure. _________________

I'm so looking forward to Get Smart! Also Wall - E looks great they had a preview for that at Prince Caspian. I'm also waiting for Mamma Mia, Finding Amanda, The Duchess, Brideshead Revisited and the major one of course - Twilight! Oh and Harry Potter too, that'll be excellent! _________________
I am stoked to see the Incredible Hulk!! Edward Norton bought the rights to the movie and remade it because he was so disappointed in the one that came out a few years ago.. and he's a HUGE hulk fan.
So, you know it's gonna be good.. plus.. it's freaking Edward Norton.. hello! _________________ "You are exactly my brand of heroin"
^^ I love Edward Norton! He's great. He almost makes me want to see The Incredible Hulk.
I want to see The Happening, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, and Twilight. I don't really know what all is coming out this summer, though. _________________

The Happening was on the news last night. Apparently is very graphic, with lots of people committing mass suicides around the world. They wanna make it R+ over here, so that young teenagers can't see it. I agree. My little brother mentioned earlier that he'd like to see it (he's into scifi horror stuff like that - I was dragged along to Cloverfield because it was rated M) and I don't want him seeing that. He's one of those kids who picks up things unintentionally. However, the whole plot overall seems likes a good idea, just a little graphic.
Has anyone heard of The Duchess? It's got Keira Knightley in it (sigh) and it's about the rise and fall of the Duchess of Devonshire (oo yes please make me a duchess of Devonshire!!). I watched the trailer on Apple, and it looks fantastic! It's got Ralph Fiennes and Dominic Cooper (of Mamma Mia fame) as the eye candy too, so PWHOAR!! looking forward to that one! _________________

Yeah, in the previews on commercials there is dead people. It probably should be rated R if it isn't.

Ah! I love Ralph Fiennes! He's brilliant. This movie is now on my list. _________________
Yeah i Totally want to see the Dutches as well. I like period films, and of course kiera is in i and Ralph fiennes... Such a good actor, Huge wigs in that movie tho, can't wait to see the costumes. Its interesting how Kiera keeps on doing period work tho (not complaining at all).. She'll be in next King lear, on imdb, Anthony Hopkins and Gweneth are romed to be in this Shakespear film. That will be exciting.
and recently kiera is rumored to maybe be in a remake of My Fair Lady. (i'm a lil worried about this one... seeing how kiera isn't a trained singer)
I wanna see the hulk too, for liv and Norton. I hope its good, the cgi in previews looks alright, but i'm sure Norton will give a good performance. (loved fight club ) _________________

Sorry, but A LITTLE WORRIED? JUST A LITTLE WORRIED THAT THEY ARE TURNING ONE OF THE BEST FILMS EVER MADE IN THE HISTORY OF FILMS INTO A FARCE BY CASTING KEIRA FRICKING KNIGHTLEY AS ELIZA DOOLITTLE???
I sorry, I shouldn't outburst like that. It's mean and wrong. But ARGH! I had a fit when I read the news and it said that. It just....*shakes head* it can't be redone. It's an iconic film. I mean, people were rattled when Julie Andrews didn't play Eliza, and it ended up being one of Audrey Hepburn's best films. She became the iconic Eliza Dolittle.
And Keira Knightley...oh no. No no no no no no no no no.
Sorry, by the way, if I've just offended anyone. _________________

lol!
yeah.... well maybe i'm more than a little bit worried. I loved my fair lady, and it would be horrible if they destroyed it, nothing would be as good as the beloved original. Possibly they would dub the voice over, though i do like kiera, she just doesn't seem to fit. She has the looks, not the voice.
i would like emily rossum tho, (phantom of the oprah), just because she can sing and wasn't too bad in that movie either. Even anne hathaway could be a better choice, she is a soprano.... _________________

I agree. Emmy Rossum would be good, but somehow I can't see dirt on her face, like in the 'Wouldn't it be Loverly?' scene. She has an amazing voice though.
Even Anne Hathaway would be a better choice then Keira Knightley. Apparently she sings like a pubescent boy:
I can't believe I forgot to add How to Be to the list. That is most definately one that I'm looking forward to!
Also: Meet Dave, The Sisterhood of Travelling Pants 2, The Accidental Husband, Disaster Movie (only because the rip-off movies end up being quite good, except for Meet the Spartans), Quantum of Solace, Madagascar 2 (only because the penguins literally define my life), Australia (shot in WA! MY HOME!!!), Marley and Me and Inkheart are some of the ones I'm looking forward to over the course of this year. _________________
