Missy Higgins is really big over here (lol surprise surprise haha my sarcasm is killing me my god it is so late).
They use all her songs for the sad television ads, like the Salvation Army or the SES Fire Services with people's houses all burnt to a crisp (brilliant summer weather warning!) and it used to make me sad so I'd flick it over.
But she has an amazing voice.
I think it was Peachy that I got stuck in my head over the summer when we were in Kalbarri, so it became sort of my official summer song.

I'm glad she's getting American coverage though. It's always nice to hear of our fellow Aussie singers breaking it out in America. We don't usually have a good success rate - I mean Delta, Shannon Noll, Guy Sebastian - they never really broke out over there.
