sure, i love to read, too! but for me, it's always really hard to find books that I'm really interested in. i'm really into the magic-and-vampires-and-werewolf-thing !! i know, there are a lot of books, but not every book is good.
sometimes I also read "classics" like austen or dürrenmatt...

I think my favorite classic so far is The Time Machine. or Great Expectations. What I like most about classic novels is that they all tell a story, but make you look at the a bigger picture at the same time. I like trying to figure out what the symbols are or what the author could be representing when he depicts a person a certain way. I just finished reading Lord of the Flies. I did not care for it too much, but there was so much symbolism and double meaning. Has anyone read The Host yet?

Now that I don't have to go to school in the morning which makes reading difficult because I'm never able to stop and have to stay up too long, I'm like reading all the time. I've bought a lot of books these days...it's better than spending money for useless stuff.. It also enlarges my little 'library' at home =)
I'm just reading the host..haven't finished it yet but you don't have to read a lot of it until it's obvious that it's a great book!

It is a great book. SM is a genius!
At this point...I am finally done with school for the semester, now I'm just working...but I've been reading like crazy. I can't stop myself. I'm actually in the middle of like 4 different books. Because I couldn't decide which I wanted to read more. And on top of that I am writing a lot also...it's a bit insane...but it is what keeps me sane.....if that makes any sense...LOL _________________ ~<3~I'm a Edward Cullen is Totally Hot...Fanpire~<3~

It's an ethereal feeling when you are able to get lost in words on pieces of paper. I love to read and get away from the real world. They affect me so much and I love every moment that I'm caught up in a book. _________________

It's just so....I can't describe it. There are no words to describe that feeling when you get lost in a book.
I'm a real visual person as well, so for me I literally 'jump' into a book. I am part of that world. I feel like an out of place soul, walking around beside the main character as they complete their journey.
At the moment I'm reading The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins. It's an excellent book, and I already feel like I'm taking the same steps as the MC. When he sees the woman in white on the street, I feel curious at the same time he does. It's almost a Host-esque thing really with my soul being implanted into his mind so that I think and feel the way he does.
Remember that old kids movie? The Pagemaker or something? Where there was that wizard and the little kid was thrown into an animation world of books? That's like me. Strange analysis I know, but it's true.
Okay, I've babbled on too much now. All I know is that I have 22 days until I next go to Borders![/i] _________________

I think that movie was call The Page Master. With Macaulay Culkin. Ha I remember that movie.
I'm currently reading Chalked Up (a true story about gymnastics and eating disorders and such. The book hits home only because I've actually been there and done it. So me relating to this book inevitable. But it's a fantastic story).
I'm also reading a memoire called Such a Pretty Fat...by Jen Lancaster. She has two others out the first called Bitter is the new Black and the second called Bright Lights Big Ass...she is fantastic and hilarious. If you want to laugh read them...she also has ridiculously funny footnotes in her books. _________________ ~<3~I'm a Edward Cullen is Totally Hot...Fanpire~<3~

Besides Stephenie Meyer, my favorite author has to be Christopher Rice...he is amazing and a bit of a hero when it comes to bringing homosexuals more into the society. Ok there is so much more and I could never explain it without sounding horrible..but read his writing! He is my favorite MALE Author.
And...I wish to get my Bachelor's Degree so I can be a Book Critique.

| I'm nicknamed the book hunter at my school. I will be in the middle of a conversation, see someone with a book, and abruptly end my conversation just so that I can find out what book that is. My friends are really frustrated when I do that. But I really can't help it. Books...are my life. I like getting caught up in a good book. Takes me away from the stresses and worries of real life. I especially become crazy when exams are around the corner. The stress will be unbearable, if I don't read a book in between studying.
