Hair - Formal Style

Postby Lexiani on Sun May 04, 2008 6:47 am

Hey guys! I'll be the first to post here. I'm in a few weddings this year and the brides don't have a set style that they want our hair. Well, I suck at hair anyway - I pretty much flat iron mine because it won't curl to save it's life.

What I want to do is a half-up style with some curl. I've got my appointment for hair all set, now I just need to find some picture of what I want. So here's where I need some help.

Does anyone know of any good websites to look at for hair? I've found a million for up-do's but finding a half-up-do is next to impossible. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

I have straight hair too that won't curl!
Haha but anyway, for prom I wanted to just get it curly, and of course there were no pictures for that, either. What I just did was make a trial appointment with my stylist, explained what I wanted, and she did it in my hair to make sure it looked good. Then for the actual prom, she already knew what to do! :)
The same thing would probably work with a curly half-up style, because if I remember correctly, the only have the really fancy updo pictures online.

Well I would google something like "curly half-up" or something. That's usually what I do.

I'm not really an expert in this stuff though.. I just google everything, hah..
