So whats the last film/movie you saw? is it a must see, okay or just plain horrible?

----

haha, I saw Kung Foo Panda with my younger cousins. They had a blast.

The animation was pretty excellent. Though it was extremely obvious what was going to happen in the end, but there was some really funny jokes. Defiantly a fun family film but don't expect more than that. Good for the fam

On the other hand, i just rented Charlie Chaplin's the Great dictator, pretty good film. He's funny as always, as well as speaks politically of its own times (1940). gotta love good ol' black and white films

I watched part of The 40 Year Old Virgin last night, but never finished it. The last one I finished was Cold Mountain. It wasn't really that great, but Jude Law looked pretty smokin' with longer hair.

I watched The Firm with TOm Cruise. I am not a Tom fan but the movie was excellent! It made me dislike lawyers even more! Smile

the last movie i watched was...uhmm...oh yeah "evelyn" with pierce brosnan (yes i admit it, i'm a fan of him. and counting down the days to "mamma mia" the movie in which he's starring)
it was pretty emotional, about a father fighting for his kids that were taken away from him after his wife left the family. good movie Smile

oh tom cruise...i think he's a decent actor but strongly dislike him as a person. the whole scientoloy deal and the way he's been treating katie lately....yeah, not so nice.

"40 year-old virgin" was funny Smile i saw that a while ago

The last full movie I saw at home was Diary of the Dead. I didn't really like it. I love Zombie movies, but this one was really predictable and stuff. I hate zombies when they walk slowly. I really like it when they book it and flat out run after their victims. Much scarier!
The last movie I saw in theater was Prince Caspian, and I LOVED IT. I kept drooling over all the boys in the movie. Ben Barnes? Holy crap. Great epic fight scenes in that movie, too.
Very Happy

aw, i can't wait to see that movie. It'll be soon, i'll prolly see it next week. tmw i'm goin to see indiana J. I've heard mixed reviews but i gotta see it in theaters.
i've heard that it wasn't as good as the first, is this tru?
----

Just watched In Bruges - good film, i was expecting a comedy for some odd reason but it totally turnout to be a drama. Colin ferrel was actually not too bad in this role, the performances were good. Ralph fienes was good as always. Compelling movie, i'd say rent it though.

on a side note, (a twilight side note)... Carter Burwell.. our twilight composer did this movie. And i'm sure we are in good hands. some nice piano sequences

I hate scary movies, but in big groups my friends like to be douches, so tonight we watched "The Signal"

I thought it was pretty okay, as far as scary movies. It had humor in certain parts, which made me like it better, took some of th edge out, but it more mindf****s you than anything else.

Oh! I remember seeing previews for that movie a while ago and thinking about how I wanted to see it, but I never heard of a release date for it or anything. I think it only got a limited release, etc.
But it looked like a comedy to me, too. I'm going to have to rent it. Thanks for the reminder. And I'm sure I will be listening closely to the soundtrack now that I know who composed it. Very Happy

morgan, i'm in love (no actually i'm in lust lol) with your sig!!!

anyway...i watched romeo and juliet last night. the leo dicaprio + claire daines version. uhm yeah...i'm still not sure what i think about that one.
leo and claire were super cute together (reminded me of edward and bella a bit...) but the rest of the movie was just plain weird.
they drove cars and lived in a big town with skyscrapers - yet spoke in verses?? and referred to their guns as swords?? it was just a lil weird... Confused
but the love story bits were great. i can't wait for next year when we'll be reading the book in english class Very Happy

I saw Prince Caspian again on Wednesday. Man I love that movie. Def must see (cept for the Susan/Caspian thing. That just ruins the next book for me!)

It's great seeing a movie again. Like I picked things I never saw before, parallels to the Christian world I didn't get before. Plus I realised that Trumpkin is Peter Dinklage - aka DEATH AT A FUNERAL!!!

Don't worry, the Susan/Caspian affair wasn't in the book.

lol ahh i remember watching that in HS, i thought it was a lil strange set in modern setting. pretty funny how dramatic they were... but its leo and he's a great actor. and Claire daines isn't too bad either.
------
Just came back from watching Indiana .. hmm hmm.... i think the reviews on this film hit the spot. Very iffy movie, first 70% was good ol' fashion indy, good chase scene, archlogical stuff. But then the end just got strange and weird... i wont give spoilers, its just a bit weird for me. And the ending was so corny, oh well, thats indy for ya. I didn't mind Shia in the movie tho, i'm glad he didn't stick out. Its a good no brainer film tho, and its just one of those movies u just see, just because it is india jones.

ehh iffy, i'm prolly goin to catch hulk or Caspian next, i hope its better, i'm sure it will be

Thanks! I'm so in love with that manip, that when I found the icon I had to bring it back (I had made it a while ago).

As for Romeo and Juliet..I LOVE that version. LOVE IT. The movie poster for it was awesome---there were some fan art posters for Twilight that were made in the style of that movie poster that were fantastic. I will have to dig it up at some point and show it to you.

DON'T READ THIS POST IF YOU HAVE NOT READ VOYAGE OF THE DAWN TREADER BY C.S. LEWIS AND ARE WANTING TO!!!!!!!!!!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!!!

lol I should have explained myself. I think that having something between Caspian and Susan was wrong, because now in VotDT, the relationship between Caspian and the unamed daughter of Ramandu doesn't seem as pure as what it was written to be. That's why. And it sure made me mad that they had 'something.' When it comes to Narnia, I'm a stickler for the books!
