Is Edward ruining your life?

Can’t seem to find the perfect man? Why doesn’t she notice you? In need of post-break up counseling? Or are you just confused by the opposite sex? Have you now unrealistic expectations for men, ladies? Post rants and seemingly unanswered questions here. Married individuals feel free to advise the young and inexperienced. (Nothing explicit)

Edward Cullen hasn't ruined my life...he just made me obsessed. My friends are annoyed with me because now I am obsesed with Spunk as well...agh.

I don't go looking for guys, that's probably why I rarely get any. I look AT Guys but that's completely different.

And now we go back to the guy who remnided me of Jasper and Emmett all in one glorious hott package. It was awesome. I think he may have reminded me a bit of Edward as well, but I am not certain.

I can at least say that Edward has definately upped my standards for guys...I had two guys that both had amazing Edward eyes within my grasp....one ran off to join the army and the other started dating my best friend....yikes

Yep, I've been there too. It's horrible, isn't? Especially when your best friend has nothing in common with the guy and you do...grr it makes me mad

My boyfriend and I were dating for 3 years, then broke up almost a year ago. I didn't start Twilight until a month ago. However, and I can say this with 100% certainty, if we were still together, I would've ended it after Twilight. Immediately. And it's not so much that he wasn't Edward or even close (though it would've been part of it) with all of Edward's perfectness. But there is one thing guys can do like Edward - he is SO clearly in love with Bella and she means everything to him and she's so happy with him. The best thing about Edward, for me, is just how much he truly loves Bella and how happy he is with her and how much he wants her and no one else. That's what kills me about ordinary guys and relationships the most.
Alice: “I’ll play you for it. Rock, paper, scissors.”
Edward: “Why don’t you just tell me who wins?”
Alice: “I do. Excellent.”

sigh. i've been a hopeless romantic and wanted that ideal fantasy love you only hear/read about since the very beginning.

Edward just managed to personify everything I ever wanted ;)

I'm still sorta involved with this guy, and in the beginning he was sooo hopelessly in love with me, it made me giddy from joy. Now... not so much. He's going through the whole "I need to spend time with my friends and hang out as much as possible before I'm ready to settle down with you" phase and I'm impatient, but lo and behold a year later I'm still here. Why? Cos I remember what his love was like and I miss it. Oi, I'm an idiot. :(

Oh no, you're not an idiot!
Of course you want his love back.. it's just that you should wait too long...or actually not any longer.. He doesn't deserve you if his friends are more important to him...If you feel there's still hope, or if you 'want' to wait, why don't look for a better guy in the mean time ? ;)
