So Jake told me last night that he kind of has a crush on another one of our friends.. And he was asking me advice on how to approach the subject with out "group" because he doesn't want to like.. make things awkward.

this is all so cute and lame at the same time...i'm happy i found this forum! haha.

i have a edward/jacob mix, i guess. he is really mostly like jacob...more like a tight friend...and he is in no way as careful as edward...but he has his moments!

i'm having a hard time not raising my expectations for him after reading these books. it feels so silly...like i need a good kick in the head or something! haha.

wOw this is one of those tough ones...but hang in there girl! Maybe she feels the same or maybe she dosen't.....its hard to give advice to someone when you just want them to hold on to you.....but who knows...maybe your labors of love will show him who he should really look at--YOU

I tried dating my best friend of years just recently and found I could only see him as a brother and ended the relationship within a week. There should be no problem right? Nope he's now extremely taken with me and says things that make me feel awkward and not to mention he's extremely foward with me. He's like jacob in the sense he won't take no for an answer, so I'm plotting to run him over in some vain attempt to get him to hate me, next time he comes to visit. I would hide from him because he worries me that much, but that's a little hard to do in a small town. I loved the boy to death but he made it hard to do that now. As for my Edward I'm more apt to think I don't have one out there for me because all I've ever attracted are stalker like people. But I do have a vain hope of who my Edward would be and that's my high school crush/friend bryan. He fights fire with my mom now so it's hard to avoid him. Side note about me I avoid love like the plaque because I feel it's not meant for me. Yeppers I've got me some issues

I've found my Jacob all right that friend that turns into more than friends that you really love no matter how much he makes you hate him, even tho you really only love half of him kind of thing...dated his for almost 2 years....then he became a total asshole and got into some hardcore stuff....
as for edward...not yet I'm still waiting for that perfect guy that just dazzles me i thought i had him found at one point and then it definately turned into a Jacob-Bella-Edward situation, and I can say this I am Jacob, he is Bella and my best friend is Edward, of course she's gorgeous and he's possibly the best looking thing to walk through my front door, we even had a little bit of a thing going when he met my best friend, but him and I are really close friends so he tells me almost everything about their relationship and I will admit to tossing in little things to get them in trouble with each other just because I want him for my own....I can honestly say I feel bad for Jacob cuz it's not easy feeling that way for someone and being left out in the cold

no i don't know really. my feelings for him are sort of jake-ish. like, new moon, when bella considers getting together with jake. she know it's not like the perfect match but that he'll take good care of her. sort of like that.
maybe he'll turn into an edward. we haven't known each other long enough to tell.
oh and he says i dazzle him, haha. i had to suppress a laugh when he said that (he hasn't read twilight though. the german translation they use for "dazzle" in the books is a bit more...general. and he said that to me. but i remembered the choice of words in the german twilight book and got all happy, lol)

I think I've found a pretty close Edward. He listens and want's to know what bothers me and what I'm thinking about. But he doesn't talk so much about him self. (Unless I ask and even then he changes the subject over to me)
The bad thing is that I think he only sees me as a good friend. I've dropped several hints, but he doesn't seem to get it, or want to get it.

Too bad.

I only wish I could find someone like Edward or...well, most Twilight guys are pretty awesome. I'd love for example to have Jasper or Carlisle myself But no, my love life is pretty non-existent. It is great that others have found theirs because it gives hope. I am afraid though that my expectations and standards are so high

I have a pretty good guess that I'll end up as a spinster. Thank you, Twilight, thank you.
