I'm not necessarily a Sci-fi fan, but I think the fact that there are aliens and such will be a detail, as it seems that the love story is the main theme. Similar to how I see the Twilight series - not horror, really, it's about the love mainly. I have pre-ordered it, can't wait for it to arrive!

This is so random, but did anyone read Animorphs as a kid? The concept reminds me of Animorphs...which is about aliens called Yerks that enter the body of a human through their ear and control everything through their brain, and the human and alien can hear each others thoughts and such. My boyfriend and I were talking about the Host and he brought this up.
Of course, he always is quoting Rob "Hang on tight spider monkey" in my ear all of the time, because he thinks the way Rob says it is hilarious, so I tend not to take him seriously.

Actually I haven't read any real sci-fi books yet but I guess a Stephenie Meyer book is good anyway! I have preordered it and I hope that it will be here on May 2nd so I can take it with me when I go in vacation!
I'm excited but I believe I/we won't be disappointed!
In the meantime I'm reading Me and Mr Darcy as recommended in another topic Wink

i'm gonna borrow it from a friend who bought it. she told me it's really good. not as good as twilight but better than eclipse (i think that's what she said)

but i won't borrow it until exams are over coz i know when i have that book, and if it's as good as my friend says, i won't be studying at all anymore.

and she also like one of the guys in there, ian i think, better than edward. and i was shocked to hear that!
now i'm scared to read the book...coz i don't want to like any other fictional character better than edward...and i don't want to like this book better then the twilight series....hmpf. idk....

oh and yeah i read animorphs. good books.

Just going to make it clear: Just because a novel is considered "adult" does not necessarily mean that it's going to be sexual. It means that it's aimed at adults instead of, say, young adults.
This applies to Forever Dawn, as well.

i realize that...i was just crossing my fingers....that and i was curious if she would try it cuz you never know....plus she hadn't even intended Twilight to be a YA...so in all honesty i didn't really expect different just wanted different
