So we were discussing this and started to wonder... What if the plot of BD has been given away (at least in hints anyways) in Eclipse already?
I would feel ridiculous if most of the clues have been in print all along. But it would also be kind of neat for that to happen, just because it would show that SM's writing skill is superior, as we already know.

See, this is why I am not sure about Bella becoming vampire. Remember in book two, the beginning. When Bella thought that she was talking to her Grandmother and it was actually just herself looking in a mirror. That is why I still don't know if she will become a vampire...
That was a major fear that she had. We all knew it. That would have been her future because that was Edward's plan all along....that's the reason why New Moon happened. Edward needed to see what it would be like without her and also for her to make her choice period.
I don't think that was a foreshadow, because it was too much of her fear and something that would have happened if it were not for New Moon anyway.
O agree. I don't see it as foreshadowing. It's like one of Alice's hazy visions, a possible future but not set in stone. It's just what could have happened if Edward hadn't left.

I know!! I can't wait!!! And I can't wait for the spec. edition of Eclipse either!!! The 31st can't come soon enough, but at least i work at Borders so that I can get it before the store even opens. LOL....thats what I did with The Host today. LOL and then they had me do all the new Host and Twilight Displays around the store all day.
