This really freaks me out, cos lots of people in various forms have been saying that Edward is 'emo.'

But Edward is so not emo! I've never imagined him as anything close to emo!

Did Stephenie Meyer write him like this, or is it just what people say?

I mean, I know Twilight is 'dark' but I've never imagined Edward as an emo!!

What? I don't think he's emo.. I mean sure he might be a little sad kiddie before Bella shows up, but then he gets all happy. If they mean just the way he dressed then.. I don't know.

Actually, I've never thought of Edward being emo...lol, makes me laugh because I never noticed a whole lot of things. Though I cannot see Edward as being emo.

lol yea. Edward loves life (lol pun not intended lol). plus all the emo kids i know are really selfish, and edward is sooo not that. It is really laughable. Laughing

yea maybe. I don't get it Edward is never really depressed other then when he hurts bella... Not such an emo thing to do.

I utterly detst the term "emo". Edward was around before emo was emo. He is not emo in the cliche, hair over the eyes, black eyeliner way. He is not really emo in the non-clich way....he actually is quite guarded about most of his feelings for a long while with Bella. He's terribly romantic...not emo.

I was just really scared about that, because I saw this picture that said something about Edward helping emos since 1912 or whatever and freaked that my beautiful, Mr. Darcy/Heathcliff/Romeo romantic early 20th century vampire was emo and i was like NO! They didn't even know what emo was back in the 1900s!!

I hate that people consider him emo, too. Just because a bunch of scene/emo kids read the books doesn't make the characters like them....I'm really glad that none of the characters in the movie became emo.

lol i loved how in about every single photo/clip I've seen of Robert he's always wearing that grey coat... I have one like that... Embarassed
