my favorite scene in Eclipse was when Bella tries to take Edwards shirt off letting him know that she is ready to prove her love to him..instead he asked her to marry him and he would love to make her his unless they got married....then that scene in Twilight where they are in the special place of his ..& he gets close..ugh..that really gets me jealous..wishing guys could be more like that now a days...haha [/b]

i really liked all those "raunchy-as-it-gets" parts. i also thought it was really sweet that Bella woke up with Edward cuddling her in his room. it's so romantic! and it was really cute when he said Bella was "sexy" in the helmet and motorcycle jacket. lol! also, i loved that Edward still knew Jake was around when they were discussing their engagement. Edward deserves to win all the way!! GO EDWARD!!!!

Oh! I forgot about the sexy in the motorcycle jacket, etc. I loved that little scene! It was nice to see Edward struggling for words, for once.

Sex, Sex, Sex.

Alright, folks. Indeed, I have taken notice that there has been an outbreak of sex-crazed role-players, mainly Edward and Bella couples. Apparently, other role-players (and non-roleplayers) have noticed this as well. I am not being condescending in any way against the individuals who have taken part in such events, but I have been swamped with sex-related questions concerning Edward's relationship with Bella.

Do note: Edward and Bella can have sex, don't misunderstand this fact. They are quite able (and willing, I'm sure), but Edward would have attempted such an act with her by now. Being the vampire that he is, Edward lusts after Bella - which became quite apparent in New Moon. He longs for her blood, but cares for her too deeply to ever drink from her. He isn't a monster and thoroughly refuses to be. His undying love for Bella Swan sways him to believe such a fact; he has been able to resist the urge of suckling on her pulse.

Moreover, I do believe that Edward and Bella aren't careless enough to just "get it on" without discussing every aspect of the risks involved. You see, VAMPIRES CANNOT HAVE BABIES. Edward's sperm are long past expired. Hence, his genitals are incapable of producing said sperm needed to create a new life. Not to mention it would be rather out of character for them to "rock the sheets".

Anywho, it is known that any bodily fluid in a vampire (in this beautiful world Stephenie Meyer created) is replaced with venom. Said venom always drew Bella in during their kisses; she had smelled the venom when he parted his lips and was immediately attracted to the source.

Now, if you haven't come to the conclusion already, I suppose I will just have make it clear: during sex, the male ejaculates into the female's uterus, releasing sperm that will seek out the egg in order to unite and create a fetus. If Edward and Bella happen to have sex, he would release venom into her human body, which is still capable of housing a child. This venom would begin her transformation into a vampire once it had the chance to soak into her bloodstream. Think of vampirism as an STD. Making the connection? I hope so.

Also. If Edward were to finally "unite" with Bella, he would be tempted to let go of what little self-control he harbors. This would be EXTREMELY dangerous on Bella's part. Remember when he mentioned in Twilight how he could so easily crush her skull without intentionally meaning to? Well, what do you think would happen if Edward lost his self-control, bringing the desire that been building inside of him for the past one hundred ten years to the surface? The scene would most likely be a bloody one - just imaging Edward letting loose. He has the ability to literally tear her in two.

In conclusion, all hell would break loose if said sex occurred. Surely Stephenie has thought about such events, and I give her countless kudos. It would just be better if the sex between Edward and Bella was postponed until she become a full-fledged vampire. Then, she wouldn't be so prone to breaking.

Very interesting! But notice how it says "pre-eclipse". Before Eclipse, sex was never thought to really be an option. Now, however....it's part of the all important turning/marriage deal.

You know...it's really quite humorous.

Edward Cullen, the gorgeous book hero, says this all the time. He explains that he cannot have sex with her because she is breakable...but we do not agree apparently with him. Until his roleplaying character makes a blog about it, then we say it makes perfect sense.

Both Bella and Edward are virgins.

Stregoni is right - I'm not sure of the exact quote but I know Bella mentions it in Eclipse about Edward "saving" himself. Aww...think of the sexual tension Edward must have by now.
