So I already had a paperback copy of Twilight but I wanted a hardback to match my New Moon and Eclipse. So my younger sister and I went down to Borders to pick one up which I did. My little sister just happened to look over and see a paperback copy of Twilight...only it had no title! The cover showed the arms and the apple but it didn't say anything! Even weirder the binding didn't say anything, no title, no author, nothing. I was fascinated and I wanted my sister to read it anyway so I bought it for her (I could only find one copy like that in the store). So now I have payed for three copies of this book which just proves I'm probably a little too obsessed :p
Anyway, I can't find any mention of anyone else finding a copy of Twilight like this anywhere online and I'm really curious. Surely it must have been a whole printing that got messed up? And how random is it that the artwork came out fine but all the text is missing? And the store didn't spot it? Weird stuff, but I'm glad I bought it. Oh, and my sister loves it by the way. And I made her swear to keep it in decent condition just because I think it's cool. So what do you guys think? Freak printing accident?
I want to say I came across this somewhere before, at least hearing about it. But I've never talked to someone whos actually found one before. I would keep it, its very cool. Is it one of the first editions/printings of the book?
I'd say it was a misprint....so weird. That's crazy though. Glad you bought it.
Of course....that's halfway illegal isn't it? They say if the binding of the cover is off, then the book is stolen etc. The only reason they would be against it is if the title and authors name are not on it........weeeeeeeeeeeiiiirdd.
